Giuseppe Cantisani

GIUSEPPE CANTISANI is an Associate Professor of “Roads Railways and Airports” at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the “Sapienza – University of Rome”. He graduated cum laude in Civil Engineering in 1996 (sector: Transportation) and obtained his PhD degree in Roadway and Transportation Infrastructures in 2001. He is currently teaching “Design and Construction of Roads” and “Advanced Road Design”; he is member of the Teaching Board of the PhD Course in “Infrastructures and Transportations”. His scientific activity encompasses several positions like Scientific Manager or Participant in National Research Programs, University Research Groups and in Faculty Research Groups. Giuseppe also has institutional duties in the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Transportation, as expert member of the High Council of Public Works, expert member of the National Administrative Authority for Road Tunnels Safety, and Member of the Working Group for the development of Technical Standards for new and existing roads.
