Thiago Rúbio is a Researcher Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in Computer Engineering at both academia and companies. He is primarily responsible for carrying out Design, Modelling, and Development of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering related activities. He has been an active member of LIACC (Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Laboratory) at the University of Porto, Portugal. Thiago is doing his Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering at the University of Porto and his research focuses on High-Performance Computing, Distributed Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and new techniques for Software Development and Large-scale Simulation. He is particularly interested in “Smart” applications, such as Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Smart Traffic, etc.
